Help[Opinions] Saskia and Saskie
Saskia is the one name that I feel I’d never really use for a daughter but I love it so much, I can’t get it off my list. It’s so soft but also strong, rare and classic, and it sounds like a princess or a dragon slayer. It means knife. I think it’s beautiful but for some reason I just can’t imagine using it. What do you think of it?
This morning I was thinking I’d love it better if it was “Saskie” rather than Saskia, in the same way I love Sylvie but not Sylvia. I looked “Saskie” up. This website says it’s a Czech variant of Saskia. I’ve kind of fallen for Saskie. What do you think of it? Is it usable? Which do you prefer?

Saskia is fun and lively, it's much fresher than most -ia names and I'm a big fan.
Saskie isn't really great as Sas-kee and as it'd be properly said almost exactly like Saskia, it's either gonna be butchered from a Czech perspective or a bit redundant and possibly confusing if said properly (unless you have Czech heritage).

Saskie reminds me Saxon somehow. I think it’s an unattractive name that will always be misspelled and misheard.

I think use the name Saskia and Saskie could then be a NN.
