Violet. I’m pretty obsessed with Violet right now. I like Iris. I particularly love the meaning and associations, but I think I find the English pronunciation mildly off-putting.

Violet, because Iris is nasal and not very delicate the way I'd want a flower name to be on a girl.

Both February’s birth flowers, is that why you post it?

I like Violet better as a name, but if I had to use one I'd pick Iris because I think Violet is more specific.

Violet. Iris makes me think of the part of the eye too much sometimes but I do like it. This might be a good poll question since it is a straightforward either/or.
