[Opinions] does Clara feel dated to you?
Did u ever meet a Clara? If yes, how old are them?

Not at all. Hell, I would probably say it’s one of the only timeless girl names out on the naming scene these days.

Clara feels traditional and classical, but not dated or antiquated. I can't recall meeting any Claras, though I've met a few Clares and Claires before, with the eldest of them being in her late forties. both Clare and Claire are really pretty variants and I like them both as well, though I slightly prefer Claire; the addition of the 'i' looks more elegant to me.

I know only one Clara. She is about three years old.I don't find it dated, mostly because I've never met or even heard of another Clara other than my friend's three-year-old daughter. Perhaps because Claire is much more common in my area.

It feels dated to me, the only one I know under 70 is named after her grandmother

I've only met one English-speaking Clara, born in South Africa in I suppose the 1950s. All the others have been German, and of mixed ages.

I know two in their 20s. I think it's close to, if not already, a classic.

A little. Not meet one but know a few Claire's 20s to 50s

Clara doesn’t feel dated to me at all, probably because (unfortunately) I’ve never met one. It’s my favourite name for a girl.

No, not dated. Have known a Clara for years, used to babysit for her.

No. It is one of the old-fashioned names making a comeback that is growing in popularity.

It doesn't feel dated, it feels antique. To me, that's a nice thing. I've only known one Clara, about twenty five years ago, and she was very elderly then, so she was probably born in the 1920s.

I’m not sure I’ve ever met a Clara, but it doesn’t feel dated to me at all. Like the commenter below me said, it’s a beautiful classic.

I have indeed. A few in their 20's and also my 4-year-old niece. 🙂 I don't find it dated in the least, but rather a beautiful classic.
