[Facts] Sigourney
I know that Sigourney Weaver (née Susan) took this name from some F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, but what does it mean? Is it French?Short and sweet like Swedish summer....

Sigourney is a Norman French surname which indicates that one's ancestors came from a place called Sigournais in France. So far I haven't been able to discover the original meaning of the place name.
