Something about the name is just not my style; I think it's the spelling, with the -dace prn dus. If it were a new name I would respell it Candis. I much prefer Candida though.

Sorry, Candace is an 80s airhead name to me still - I had too many classmates at school with that name and personality!

I like the name Candace, but I think I might like the spelling Candice better. I'm sorry, but at the moment I can't think of another nickname for Candace besides Candy. :-/
