Lorraine is my mother's name. I think it is okay, but I don't like it well enough to want to use it. Makes a decent mn.

Don't like Nicolette. Sounds too much like that Nicorette gum people chew to help them stop smoking.

not too keen on Lorraine, and prefer Nicole to Nicolette, but you could use Nicole as a nn.
