Anyone who knows anything about Romance languages will realise that Albina is the feminine version of Albino and has the same meaning. And most who don't will still associate Albina with "albino".

I think the sound is pretty, and the "albino" reaction is unfortunate. I probably wouldn't use it for that reason. What about Alba?

For many different reasons, especially the reason Chrisell brought up. Alba would be a better choice.
