Ottilie is cute, but not as gorgeous as Odilia and Ophelia. They're both tremendously elegant and extremely beautiful.

Ottilie -- I adore it. It's fun, classic, pretty, has old-fashioned charm. What's not to love?Odilia -- I should like this one more than I do, since it's just as classic as Ottilie. But something holds me back. Perhaps it's the "Od-" part of it that just doesn't appeal.Ophelia -- i'm a literary snob, so just about anything Shakespearean tickles my fancy. I just wish this character didn't have such a well known tradgic ending. Then again, Juliet's ending is perhaps even better known and I don't get this feeling. I'm thinking too much.

Ottilie is an awkward name for me. It reminds me too muh of "otter".
Odilia, like Cordelia, strikes me as a name that's trying too hard to sound romantic and sophisticated.
Ophelia is lovely. I wonder if its tragic roots are too strong, though.

Sorry, meant to be under main post.Ottilie and Odilia both remind me too much of parts of the ear. (Words like otitis and otoscope... I'm weird.)I like Ophelia but it carries a bit more baggage than I like. I find it hard not to think of the insane and suicidal Ophelia from Hamlet.

I like them. They're rare and have nice meanings. Go for it :)

I've always loved Ophelia. Ottilie and Odilia are nms, but I wouldn't mind them for someone else.
