New celebrity baby
Trista Sutter from The Bachelorette on TV and her husband Ryan had a baby girl today. Her name is Blakesley Grace. They have an older son Maxwell ("Max").Opinions? I think it's horrible.ETA: I agree with everyone that this name just struck some awful nerve with me. I literally can't stand this name. I think it's up there on my list of worst ever. I mean, I really don't like boys' names on girls, but I could've overlooked Blake. Blakesley, though, just sounds made up and stupid. And paired with Grace...whatever.ETA (again): Apparently they got the name Blakesley from a very old family surname. In my opinion, that doesn't make it okay. I can see naming a child after its grandmother or maybe even using the grandmother's maiden name as a middle name, but to find some old name on a family tree somewhere that no close living relatives use is just weird.

Seriously, people?Maxwell is such a nice name, I had higher (or at least decent) hopes for their next baby. But NOOOOOO. :( Yuck, yuck, yuck. Blake or Blakeley or Berkeley would've been bad enough, but Blakesley is SUPER horrid, imo.

I've got a feeling that too many Blakes, Blakelys & Blakesleys are being born among celebs....

*Gag*Can you get any more cutesy and ridiculous?

You can hardly pronounce it.

I've heard that name before -- even used to think it wasn't that bad. But it is bad; it's not a very pleasant name to say at all. I like Blakely / Blakelee though.

Ewww! Honestly though I would rather have the name Blakesley Grace than the Petal Rainbow Oliver girl. It goes to prove that if you're a celebrity you're insane

LolPetal Blossom Rainbow Oliver... Sister to Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo.Petal Blossom would have been bad enough, but to add "Rainbow" to it--are these people crazy? And don't get me started on Daisy Boo.

They couldn't have just gone with Blakeley? The S in the middle is just awkward.

DANGIT.I loved Max. I was so happy because a celebrity couple had a normal kid name. FAIL, GUYS. Blake is good. Blakely is slightly worse. Blakesley is just... so far beyond worst.

Nothing should surprise me anymore.Yet for some reason, Blakesley really takes it to a whole 'nother level for me. And it's not a good one.

That is just all kinds of horrible.

Either name her Blake or name her Lesley. Not both.

Yuck!Going from a classic, if over-popular, Maxwell -Max to Blakesley:-( If this is how their taste would have deteriorated in the future I'm glad that Trista is getting her tubes tied. What's next in the -ley brigade? Maybe Drakesley, Thomaley, Walterley or Lukley?

EwBlake is bad [on a girl]. Blakely is worse. Throwing that s in there makes it worst yet. Yuck. And then tacking a filler middle name to it... fail.

Blergh.Random names with -ley at the end. When will they STOP? D:
