What is most noticeable about your character’s appearance/physical presence? How does he or she feel about it?
Her eyes, which are large and dark. The fact that she takes in general, very much after her father. It's all a bit too close for comfort.
Describe his or her voice, verbal ticks, pet phrases etc.
Her voice is low and deep, she doesn't have noticeable verbal ticks or phrases
Describe a gesture your character makes.
Again, nothing in particular
Where does he or she now live? Describe the city, town or village, the house itself. Be very specific. It doesn’t have to be in Canada. Any feelings about this place?
A large, sprawling city that's very likely New York. She loves the hustle and bustle, the quick pace, the social opportunities, but now she's seeing its ugly side as well.
Has s/he lived elsewhere? What does s/he remember of these places?
She lived in New England for college. She enjoyed the experience but got a bit bored on the long run, welcoming the opportunity to move back to the city.
What part of her home is her favourite? Least favourite? Why. Describe, using specific details.
She has a tiny flat. She likes her bedroom, with all her books and DVDs, but does not care for the fact it's so tiny and has a somewhat grubby bathroom.
What does your character’s bedroom/sleeping place look like? (lots of detail please)
A big bed with a red spread, a TV set in a corner, lots of shelves packed with books and films.
What does he or she wear to sleep in?
A tank top and panties
What does your character dream of at night?
Not very nice things right now, trials, prisons
Who are/were her parents? Rest of family? What does she feel for them?
This is a whole chapter in itself. Delia's father is Arthur Murciano,a media magnate and aspiring politician presently on house arrest for an unspecified, but probably sexual crime. Delia became estranged with him after a fight some years ago, now she spends some time with him since he very much wanted to see him. Delia's mother is called Kate, not sure about her job. Delia sometimes clashed with her as a teen ager, preferring her father. She has two half-sisters, one older one younger.

Upper middle class, Lebanese and Jewish on her father's side, Boston Irish on her mother's

Delia has a slightly compulsive sexuality, she seeks the thrills of new encounters but then loses interest.

Delia works for an academic publishing house, partially fulfilling the aspiration to do something that concerns books. She had could have gotten a much better job in the field if she hadn't become estranged from her father. She doesn't earn much, but enough to make a living.

Delia doesn't believe very strongly in anything, she just goes with the flow

Her father is very good at making her feel (possibly misplaced) guilt right now
