Name and age?
-Colby Marie Stokes, age 21
Nickname- given by whom and how?
-Her fans call her Coco, which has always been her nickname since babyhood.
What is most noticeable about your character's appearance/physical presence? How does she feel about it?
-Colby has long, blond hair and blue eyes. She is a very pretty girl, but she acts like she is gawky and unattractive- you know the type. She likes to fish for compliments.
Describe her voice, verbal ticks, pet phrases, etc.
-Bubbly laugh (more a giggle, actually), slightly girlish voice, likes to play with her hair.
Describe a gesture your character makes.
-She twirls her hair when she is nervous.
Where does she live? Be very specific.
-Colby lives in a 9,000 sq. ft. Malibu mansion, where everything is pristine and white (she was under the impression that rich people never have color in their homes.) She loves it, but sometimes she misses her hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania.
Has she lived elsewhere? Does she remember these places?
-Well, she has toured all over the world, but she has only lived three places: Reading, Nashville, and the Los Angeles area. She has a place in Manhattan, but she hardly ever goes there.
What part of their home is their favorite? Least favorite?
-Colby likes her kitchen best, and her closet least (she thinks it needs to be bigger.)
What does your character's bedroom look like?
-Everything is white (natch), and an enormous bed lies in the middle of the room. There are mirrors on the ceiling, a closet big enough to camp in, and a tricked-out home entertainment system in the corner. There are also framed black and white photos of Colby on the walls- they were taken by Annie Leibovitz.
What does she wear to sleep in?

-Reclaiming her place at the top of the country-pop charts, and ditching her leech of a husband.
Who are her parents? Rest of family? How does she feel about them?
-Colby's parents divorced when she was two, and her mother moved away. She was raised by her father and started singing with his band when she was 13 years old. Her father was very protective of her, and after she made it big, he became her manager/bodyguard. After she married her bass player, Jared, she and "Daddy" had a falling-out, and they don't speak anymore. Colby is an only child.
Class, ethnic group, religious background?
-Born middle-class, now filthy rich. White, raised Christian, but gave that up during her "rebellious" phase.
Who does she love?
-She used to love another famous singer, Mark Meyerson, but their relationship went south, so she rebounded with her bass player, Jared Overton. Jared had a girlfriend and two kids at home, but that didn't stop him from shacking up with Colby. They married three months into the relationship, and now she realizes what a mistake that was.
Who loves her?
-Jared, but he's about to be kicked to the curb. Mark never really loved her.
Married/in a relationship/single?
-Married
How does your character feel about sex/intimacy?
-Colby loves sex, but she was raised to wait for marriage, so she has conflicting feelings about it. She would love to have many partners, but there is a little voice in the back of her head that tells her it's bad for a woman to do that. She wrote a song about this struggle called "Teardrops On My Purity Ring."

-Colby is a country-pop star (think Taylor Swift.) She shot to fame at the age of 17, but is now experiencing a downward spiral (think Britney Spears.)
What does she fear?
-Loneliness. And spiders.
What about her life would she change if she could?
-She wouldn't have married Jared, and she wouldn't have had two babies in so many years. She is suffering from a little post-partum depression because of that.
Does your character have a hobby? Secret passion?
-Singing, of course. Colby also likes to take black and white pictures and pretend they are totally arty and deep.
What would be her favorite smell?
-The scent of baked goods, like cupcakes.
What kind of shoes does she wear?
-What kind of shoes doesn't she wear? Colby has closets full of shoes.

-It was rumored that Ms. Stokes had an eating disorder at the start of her career because she is tall (5'7"), and thin. She doesn't have a favorite meal, but she loves Iced Skinny Mochas from Starbucks.
Favorite clothes?
-Colby has an incredible number of outfits, but her favorite is a little black dress with matching ankle boots she has worn for several special occasions.
What is the worst thing that could happen to her right now?
-If the paparazzi caught a photo of her youngest son, Denim Chase, nearly falling off that elephant while they were on their spiritual journey through India, it would wreck her. She is praying that didn't happen.
What vehicle(s) does your character own?
-A white Mercedes, a BMW, a snowmobile, a speed boat, and a couple of ATV's.
What is her most treasured possession?
-Her platinum records. She keeps them on the wall of her home studio.
