I would pronounce Cateline as kah-teh-LEEN. It's actually kind of pretty.
Caitlin is okay, but nothing special. I've known people who spell it Caitlin, Kaitlyn, Katelyn and Kaitlen. I think I prefer the traditional (I believe?) Caitlin.
