but I still think it's a cool idea.
I think the author did well to have a Sophia instead of Wisdom - it makes the book more realistic. You need to read the book to understand - Wisdom wouldn't have worked.

When was the Deliverance in the book supposed to have lived? Deliverance didn't have the connotation it does now before the novel "Deliverance" was published. I wouldn't think anything of reading an historical novel with a character named Deliverance, for that reason.
