It's kind of hard to say for some reason, but I like the sound. A Carola would probably have to be constantly telling people her name isn't Carolyn, but that's a small price to pay for a name that is much nicer.
The only Carola I ever know pronounced it like /ca ROLE a/, which just reminds me of a Toyota Corolla.
