Re: Is Siri usable?
Well, seeing as how there is a student named Kindyl at the high school, I'd say Siri is fine.

Kindyl is a variant of Kendall, which was already an established and popular name before the Kindle came out. Siri has never really been used in the US, so I think it's different.

Well, it's pronounced Kindle, so I don't know.

I don't know about where you live, but here in California, Kendall and Kindle are pronounced exactly the same.

I live in California. Kendall is KEN, Kindle is KIN. Similar, but not exactly the same.

In my accent, Kendall and Kindle do sound exactly the same. That is not an exaggeration. I'm not saying all Californians speak that way, but I do and so do many of my friends and acquaintances.I looked it up, and apparently the pin-pen merger is more prevalent in the Southern states. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pin-pen_merger#Pin.E2.80.93pen_merger
