I don't think its terrible, because it runs in the same line is Lilah, Kyla, Myla, and Nyla.
However, I don't really like it. It sounds pretty until you start to think about it a bit. I agree with the xylophone and xylem associations.
There is one positive, though. You didn't spell it Xyla!
