I've recently started to take a liking to Perpetua. What do you think?•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I know, it's all horrible teenage angst.

I think it's cool. My friend has a daughter named Isidora Perpetua.

Since it shortens to Perp, maybe a good mn would be Innocentia.

I love Perpetua! It's so ancient, unwieldy and delicately gilt-encrusted. Also, nn Pet? Adorably retro-feeling.

Oh, I hadn't even thought of that nickname! It's adorable.

I love it! It's deliciously cumbersome and archaic.

What a perfect way to describe Perpetua. You named yourself well. :0)

Weird. I just put Perpetua Zoë on one of my polls this morning. It just came into my head. I promise I hadn't seen your thread. I love Perpetua. It's just the sort of kooky, historic, nunny name that appeals to my oddball taste. The "Bridget Jones" character even made me think it's usable. Well, possibly usable. Plus, the sound of it reminds me of Petra, which I adore.
