I think they're silly. I don't go in for animals having middle names like they're people. Gertrude could be fun to name a cat, but the others are just, I don't know, ridiculous.
Our own cats are Buddy, Diesel and Pumpkin. My mother and stepfather have Shadow and Sunny. My in-laws have Clawed and Sam. And my SIL and her husband have Smudge.

Yes, but...
I suppose Sara Gertrude IS a bit outlandish, but I still want to use it. It's an unspoken rule in my house that every cat must have a middle name! :) Nessa Kim, however, is in honor of a favorite teacher of mine who recently passed away. :(
