Honest Opinions on Myrna, any other suggestion?
Hello,
I love names that are totally normal, but just not common. They usually fall into the category of forgotten (like Clarice) or old-fashioned (like Judith)... but I am looking for something that could be used today.
Does Myrna match, and would it work today?
Sibs:
Clarisse Bituin
Evren Charles

I used to hate Myrna because I thought it was old-ladyish, but I've come around to seeing it as rather romantic, like Lorna. Clarice is fabulous, though Judith is frumpy in my eyes.Yeah, Myrna would fit in with Clarisse and Evren. They don't clash, at any rate.

I adore Clarice, Judith, and Myrna! Such gems!

I love Evren!! I'd never heard it before but I love it now :D I don't think I LOVE love Myrna but it does fit with your style I think. I also think names like Adele, Alouette, Lavender, Seren, Tanith, Juliet, Mairi, Marion, Meriel, Yolande and Emmeline might work if you liked them.

I really love Lavender, but get a lot of flack for it. Juliet was a top choice, but the hubs is named Julius and its a bit similar. Marion and Seren are stellar.

Honestly, I hate Myrna. It just sounds awful, like a medicine or something. But hey, you like it! It seems to fit in well with your style, if you ask me. I don't know how well it would work today, I'm thinking most people will have a rather negative reaction. But that's just my opinion.

I love Myrna. Always have.

Yes, I think Myrna matches your style, and would work. I think Myra might be a touch more revivable, but Myrna is still pretty cool (in my opinion, anyway).

Myra IS nice. Will see how that suggestion goes, thanks.
