Not wild about Tallulah paired with Louise because I'd be tongue tripping all over it! I do love the quirky Tallulah, though.

Tippy TallulahWhen someone in our house trips or falls or teeters off something - or nearly does any of those things, we call them "Tippy Tallulah". We've been saying it so often that I mentioned to my husband that maybe it should be our girls name if we ever have an oops. :) So yeah, Tallulah is fun to say. And Tallulah Louise is fun and silly all at once. I would have a difficult time taking it seriously, but it is fun to say!

LOL. In my home, we say "Here comes Grace!"

fun?tah-LOO-la-loo-WEEZ. It gives me a vibe like the sound of someone going, "hoo-WEE!"
I guess that could be fun if it were your name, but I don't want it.

Now, Mirfak. You know your tastes are a bit more stern than mine. :)

Yup, it is great fun to say. :) I go back and forth on Tallulah, but today I like it. And Louise is always good.

Well, huh. When I first saw the combo, I thought, "No, that can't work. It's too "L" heavy." Then I thought about it for a literal minute, and now I think it's very charming, fun, and inspired. How did that happen? @_@Tallulah is a name I've never really cared for on its own. It's always sounded like a name a young child might giver her doll, or a character in a nursery rhyme. It's very airy, dreamy but not necessarily ditzy. It's unconventional and independent, always shifting, never really content with its current state. Louise is pretty much Tallulah's mirror-world opposite; it's strong, down-to-earth, dependable, and unconcerned with anything that isn't in the here-and-now. It's content with its toil, and doesn't share the dreams of Tallulah. Together, they accentuate each other's strengths and help each other's weaknesses. Now that you've brought them together, it feels like it'd be a sin to try to tear them apart. They're surprisingly perfect together, as if they were made for one another.Plus, this combo is just a barrel of monkeys. So fun to say! Tallulah Louise. It's a name sure to make anyone who hears and/or say it smile.

Tallulah is silly, and Louise is ugly and borderline fillerish as a middle name.

plus ...Tallulah Louise sounds like a bad stutter. Too much lulu.
vote up1
The amount of "lu" is the basis of its appeal, setting it apart from what is common. :)

It IS fun to say. It goes "lu la lu" in the middle like heaps of kids songs.
"Lu la lu, his name was Mowgli, lu la lu... lu-ee!"
And
"Lu la lu, I've got some apples, lu la lu, you've got some too..."

I could call her Lulalu for short. That is almost too much love for me for today.

Thank you :)I have been liking more unusual names lately... And Matilda and Tallulah are hitting the sweet notes for me right now. Along with Jeth. I cannot find another name to even hold a candle to Jethro, though.
