Disappointing. I was hoping for something sexy-jazzy-bluesy. Summer Rain sounds like a body wash from the bargain store.

YES! The first thing I thought of was Summer's Eve. ;-) Summer Rain could be a lot worse, I suppose. My main problem with the name is that Summer and the surname both are two syllables with the stress on the first syllable and they both end in 'er.'

I don't know why I hadn't thought of that before: Summer Rutler. I agree, it sounds bad.
