Lindisfarne - usable?
I love the island name Lindisfarne. Do you think it could be used as a mn? Or is it way too crazy?

For a first name absolutely not. As a middle name I don't have as much of a problem with it. Especially not if you feel a deep connection with the place.
It doesn't scream being that namey to me but I think it could be used as a middle name, especially if you have a connection to the island or it's particularly special to you.
Personally, when I hear Lindisfarne the first thing that comes to mind is Viking marauders!

When I saw the topic, I knew I heard it somewhere. Once I read your post, I remembered.

Uh...no.
For a surname: sure or at least better as a middle name than a first.

It could be used as a middle name but only if there were some personal connection to the island as opposed to just loving the name.
Middle name ok, but not as a first IMO, too much of a mouthful.
I love the Lindis part. In today's world, I don't think it's "too crazy" to be used, but it is a lot of name. I mean, they could always go by Lin or Lindi...

I think it's a bit too much, plus I can't shake the massacre association.
The sounds are lovely, but it's just not working for me.
