Felicia, Felina, Felicie, Felice
My sister is named Felicia. I was looking up related names and came across the following...GALS:
Felicia
Felina
Felicie
Felice
Felicity
FelicianaGUYS:
Felix
Felice (fe-lee-chay)
Felicius
Feliu
Felicien
Feliciano
-Any likes, dislikes?
-Any comments?
-Any usable on a modern kid?*Note: Felina is pronounced fay-leen-ah, not like the English feline (fee-lyne).
*Note: Felice is listed by BtN as masculine, which it can be... but I have more oft heard it on women, so not sure what that is about.______________________________________________

Where I live, Felicia is a wild daisy, often used in gardens for its gloriously bright blue flowers. I've only met one human Felicia, but if it works here it could work anywhere. The only girl one that I would use is Felicity, and then probably as a mn, with a nod to my numerous Beatrice relations! For a boy, I'd like to see Felicien but I'd only expect it in a Francophone home.

I like Felicia, but not its sound. It sounds harsh to me for some reason.
I really like Felina.Felicie is weird.Of the boys names I really like Felix. It's so classic. I also like Felicius and most of the others. There is no name that I really detest.Felice is masculine to me.I think they're all very usable today.

One of my middle names is Felicia, and I've always hated it. I've been thinking about changing it, but I've never gotten around to do it. I probably never will, either. But I think it's hideous. I especially like Felix and Felicity. But I also like Felice and Feline (fee-leen or feh-leen).

Take a look at this:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felicia_%28genus%29 How can you be so harsh towards a cheerful blue daisy?

Aw, am sorry you hate the name. I think it is lovely and it means "happiness". In fact, it is considered quite pretty where my family is from (a little town in Sicily)... so maybe that might perk up your opinion of it. I do happen to prefer Felice and Feline (like you), but Felicia is lovely as is... says the biased sister of a Felicia.
