My real name...
After spending some time on this sight, I've decided to finally reveal my REAL first name. "Ali Hassan" is just a pseudonym I created for privacy reasons, but I feel safe to reveal my real first name, my real name is: Qasim Yushua (I'm not giving away my last name)

This whole time I assumed you were female...Qasim Yushua: I kind of like Yushua
The combo is just very foreign to my ears

Qasim is a totally foreign name to me. I've never heard it before. So I certainly can't judge it. But hi, Qasim.

I've never heard of Qasim before. I wanted to say kah-SEEM, but the pronunciation here has the emphasis on the first syllable. I like Yeshua and hadn't seen Yushua before - also nice. Is there meaning or a story behind why your parents chose either of your names?

My family is of the Shia sect of Islam; Qasim was a teenage martyr who fought for Hussein at Karbala and died. Yushua is my father's name and the middle name is always the father's name in Arabic names, whether boy or girl.

I really like your real name. Especially Yushua. I love Yeshua.

I'm glad you feel you can trust us - thank you! Lots of people, myself included, don't make our real names known, and some make a career of changing their pseudonyms, but in general we all keep pretty quiet about our surnames.
