I don't think it should be a problem... but then, you can never tell with kids and how illogically cruel they might be.
I think if the first or last name was a P name that started with an F sound and the other name was a hard P, there would be fewer problems, if there were any at all (like if the kid's name is Phoebe Parker rather than Penelope Parker, say).
