Personally, I've never heard the "a" in Wyatt pronounced as a short "a", like the word "at". I've only ever heard Wyatt pronounced with stress on the first syllable and with a neutral vowel sound in the last, closer to "uh", which is sometimes represented with an upside down "e", as in the BtN pronunciation for Elliott, "EL-ee-ət". I like the name.
