I don't think it's at all similar to Tora... that legit didn't even cross my mind. If I didn't already love the name Taurin, I'd think it was a variant of Tara for a kid born under Taurus, if anything.
As for whether I like it... eh. I love Taurin, and I like the spelling of Taura but I don't know. It's cool, I guess but I don't think I'd ever use it.
(watch me say that now and in a few months it'll be on my PNL! hahaha)
