Cassie Arden - for me, Cassie feels very nickname-y and youthful while Arden feels more sleek/modern so the two don't seem well suited to one another
Liesl Charlotte - I like Liesl; seeing it next to Charlotte brings Lieselotte to mind
Penny Eleanor - personally, Penny also feels nickname-y; sound-wise I'd prefer a different middle that didn't repeat the short "e" and "n" sounds
Poppy Eleanor - this has spunk, nice flow and a good mix of sounds

Cassie Arden - Hmm... it flows well and is simple, yet cute. However, it lacks a bit of personality. It seems almost boring to me. I think Cassandra Arden, nn Cassie would appeal to me more. That said, it's a safe choice and totally usable.
Liesl Charlotte - I really like it. Liesl was on our list for a long time. However, the strong German connection swayed us away. Most people we spoke to suggested we use the Liesel spelling since it would be more mainstream in an English-speaking culture. I personally prefer Liesl (has more personality), but both work in this case. Charlotte is a great choice to both ground the name and round the whole pairing into a classier combo.
Penny Eleanor V. Poppy Eleanor
While I much prefer Penny as a name, Poppy gives the combo so much more pizazz. Both in looks and sound, Poppy makes Eleanor more lively and the whole name more modern. I like both combos, so it is a toss-up personally which you use... but I would go with Poppy Eleanor myself, and reserve the adorable Penny for a different middle name.

Cassie Arden - Dislike it. Cassie is too nicknamey and I find Arden to be unattractive.
Liesl Charlotte - I like it. Liesl is nice and Charlotte is a crowd-pleaser.
Penny Eleanor - I have a thing for Penny (and Pepper) at the moment. I like it. I'd prefer Penny as a middle name or nickname. Eleanor has lost it's luster for me.
Poppy Eleanor - Love Poppy. A bit nicknamey but don't let that stop you!

Liesl Charlotte is the only combo that I really like, although I would prefer Liesel. I love the name Poppy, but I am not a big fan of Eleanor. Arden is also really nice, I like that a lot. Cassie is nms. Penny is nice enough, though not a fave. Poppy Charlotte would be my preferred combo though.
They're not unattractive names, however, I really don't care for nns on the birth certificate because I feel the names doesn't have as much integrity and they limit the bearer of the name. Having said that, I do think Cassie, Liesl and Penny are cute names. Still, I'd much rather see Cassandra, Elisabeth or Penelope on the birth certificate and a nn could always be used -- or not depending on the person. True, Poppy isn't a nn but it has that flighty, insubstantial quality and as a consequence, it prevents me from taking it as seriously as other names.
