Simon
Recently, I recalled how much I really love the name Simon. I think i'm going to ad it to my next Top 10. Simon also has personal significance to me, being the name of a dear Coptic (Egyptian Christians, for those unaware) friend of my father. He passed away after a battle with cancer last year and my father attended his funeral. What's your opinion?

I have always liked Simon, and loved the female Simone. My nephew is named a variant, Simeon - so I have a familial bias towards the name.

I like Simon, but I slightly prefer Simeon. It seems a bit more sophisticated.

Simon is slithery and whiny in the same way that Timothy is. For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, I find Simon creepy. Like the weird kid who sits in the back of class who makes eye contact for waay too long, or the guy in the next cubicle who's a mouth breather who doesn't quite get personal space.
