HelpRe: What would you name your kids using your grandparents names?

Mine are very unattractive and I never even considered the idea.
Maternal: Otis Roy, Ida Lillian
Paternal: Calvin Ernest, Alberta Virginia
Lillian and Virginia are the best of the bunch but so NMS.
DH's family:
Maternal: Bascomb Claude, Ethel Watkins
Paternal: Boyd Evan, Carrie Nicholas
Re: Evan and Nicholas, I do like both. In fact, our second dd would have been named Nicholas had she been a boy although she wouldn't have been named after Carrie. I just couldn't think of any other name I liked better at the time. With Evan, there are several namesakes among the cousins so I'd never use it. Besides, dh never cared for it. All in all, these two are the best names among the gp by FAR.
