Do not like.
There are so many better Em- names for girls(imho), why go for the masculine-sounding surname? It's trendy and unattractive on a girl. It's trendy on a boy, too, but I do kinda like it, though more as a middle name.
I just can't get my head around Emerson on a girl, frankly.
