To be honest I'm not really sure how to pronounce it. Beth-a-nee-ə? Beth-ay-nee-ə? Either way I'm not loving it. I prefer just Bethan.

I prefer it to Bethany quite considerably, it's a little fresher.

Bethania seems overly embellished to me. It's way too much. OTOH, one of my dds has a friend from chilldhood named Bethia and it really suits her.

It doesn't flow very well. Plus, it kind of looks like a place name.
