Scott, to me, is nothing special. It feels a little dated, in my opinion, and I'm not too thrilled with the sound of it (sounds a bit like 'scoff' or 'scotch'). However, I don't think there is anything really wrong with it and it doesn't make me think "That's a horrible name", which is a good thing for any name.
