Filip/Philip names

I like them all. I have always liked Philip-based names. I do, however, think that usability of a certain spelling or variation would depend on the culture or heritage of the parents.
I mean, it would make no sense to use Felipa on a Anglo-Saxon child from the countryside of Maine... when Philippa would make more sense there. Make sense?
Pippa is my least favorite. I part due to a certain cartoon pig, but also because I prefer it simply as a nickname, not a full name.

I love Philip but detest Phil. I love Philippa nn Pippa as well.
In Australia Philip and Philippa are often - perhaps more often than not - spelled Phillip and Phillipa. I hate those spellings. I think the double L craze here may be due to the fact that the First Fleet, which arrived in Australia in 1788 with troops and convicts aboard, was commanded by Captain Arthur Phillip, for whom Port Phillip Bay here is named.
