Reuben
Opinions on Reuben? It's not the name of a sandwich here so that doesn't bother me. That's probably the reason its in the 50s in popularity here rather than the 800s like in the states, but anyway sandwich aside, thoughts? ~ Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry ~

I prefer Robin, but Reuben (which isn't a sandwich here either) is also fine. Quite distinguished, in fact.

Love the name Reuben! It's definitely a name I would consider using, because we considered it with our last pregnancy. We don't have the sandwich connection here in Australia either.

I'm pretty certain the name belonged to humans long before it belonged to a sandwhich. Reuben is fine. Like i'm not obsessed over it or anything. Just tolerate itAnd actually I don't think of a sand which. Reuben just makes me think of a males name

It's ok, I think it's going to increase in popularity in the UK, I've heard of quite a few little Reubens born recently.

I love Reuben. My husband was against it because of the sandwich, but if that doesn't bother you then what's not to like? I think Reu "Roo" is an adorable nickname for a little Reuben. And Ben or Benny could work too. Although Reuben does not actually need a nickname.
