Re: name turnarounds
in reply to a message by Katie
Hmmm, I used to hate "Agatha" but now I don't mind it as much. Its far better than "Agnes" *Cringes*
I used to not care for "Bonnie" but it has grown on me.
Cecil: grown on me (never hated it though)
Leo: grown on me (never hated it)
River (boy) used to think it was too out there. Now I see it as a pretty normal name
Meadow (used to think this one was really strange. Now I see it as a go name)That's all I can think of now.

Haha yes, as a matter of fact! I used to hate several old-fashioned names that I thought were just too common such as Catherine and Elisabeth, but now I someone like them. I also used to cringe at the name Stella for years and hadn't though about it, but a colleague recently named her child that and it now sounds somewhat pretty. I also used to be crazy about the name Piper, but now after watching one episode of "Orange is the New Black" I gag at that name.
