Re: Boy Names That Work for Girls (in my opinion)
I consider Alex and Sam nick names rather than full names. Whenever I have heard Alex and Sam used for girls, they have been short for Alexandra and Samantha respectively. Kai is unisex, but I prefer it on men. Kai has a knightly Arthurian quality that I like. Spencer is masculine, and on a girl it sounds as if the parents are trying too hard to make a statement with their daughter's name. On the previous post I mentioned that Asa is a boy name that could potentially work for a girl. Many traditionally male names have been taken over by girls, and it has really taken a toll on the number of names available for boys. I would let the boys keep a few names. There is no need to feminize them all.

That is very true. I just thought they would work. Not that I really like them...
