You will find a lot of this in Irish names. Lots of dropped Hs and Es. Also try French names. You can also find names with silent letters, such as in Sarah, Adah, Susannah, etc. You don't need the H for pronunciation. As for it being at the beginning, its mostly K names in English. Knight
