It peaked here a bit earlier: top 100 in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. So Amandas are generally older, and there are a ton of them. It's okay, but I've never warmed to it much either, although it would be interesting to see out of that period.
Mandy just makes me think of that terrible cheesy ballad, I forget who by.

You know, I actually like Barry Manilow. His music is cheesy, but there is something about him that is so adorable, I can't help but like him.

Yeah, I like him too. Not the sort of thing that I really choose to listen to but I wouldn't object if someone else wanted to play his music.

He is the cheese master and his cheese is top quality. And anyone who doesn't like Copacabana at least a tiny bit has NO HEART. :)
