I prefer James - it makes the combo shorter and snappier and more stylish.Since my daughter is Beatrice Elizabeth Anne, Elijah Christian James seems positively streamlined!Adding a hyphen seems pretty senseless. Unless the child will be called by both names at once, in which case they wouldn't be mns. Something like Michael-John, Jean-Pierre, Sally-Jane as fns would be fine, but Andrew Michael-John just looks silly.
