I guess I'm getting old, if I read the obits every day.
Anyway, here's a name out of its time:Jenna.Died aged 96.I think, therefore I judge.

Sweet. Anachronisms are the best. As for Jenna itself, I don't mind it actually.

I once read the obituary of an American woman born circa 1930 named Jennifer. It's jarring.

Perhaps she was Finnish? That would make the most sense to me, as apparently it's a Finnish form of Johanna.

she wasn't ...Her maiden name, her married name, and her mother's maiden name were all very generically American.

A 96 year old Jenna seems strange to me but of all the "Jen" names, I like Jenna the best.
