Re: Shoshana: once and for all

I really like it too. It grew on me when I went through a stage of watching lots of episodes of Girls in a row.
I know it's a Jewish community name, but I wouldn't personally find it weird to meet a Shoshana who wasn't Jewish. I kinda see it in the same way I see Saskia, yes it's dutch, but if I met an English Saskia I wouldn't think 'wow that's weird'

I totally binge-watched the first series of Girls, despite my better judgement. Is it worth continuing with, do you think?
I actually knew an English Saskia, though I think she was of Dutch/German descent, so I guess that doesn't count!
Thank you!

I got through the second series also, but had to force myself towards the end. It's a weird show isn't it, almost so bad it's good. I've never returned to it to watch the later episodes though
Yeah, all the while I was watching it, I was struggling to decide whether it was good or not. I had to watch it, though, because the box set was a birthday gift :P The ending of the first series kind of bummed me out, but not enough to make me watch me watch the second just yet.
