I LOVE the name Shoshana and have since I was a kid. You've really got me with Shoshana Ruby, as Ruby was my fave name for years and the name I wanted to give my future DD. I have a 10 year old niece named Ruby though, so won't ever be able to use it. I would prefer Ruby Shoshana, just because I prefer the combo in that order. I absolutely think Shoshana is usable for someone who is not Jewish, most definitely.
