And, Michigan I would consider foreign to me!
Haha. Actually I have never felt more out of place anywhere in the world than when I lived in Minnesota for a while, and when I visited Michigan.
Great people though.
I am curious what named you think won't fly there. Fun fact though, I know at LEAST 8 people from Michigan named Allison.

I doubt my field of work will take me overseas to the point Iowa sounds exotic.
