I think they are fine as siblings.
I like Aleida. It will be mispronounced if you're in the US. People tend to say EI as AY. But, you just correct them, and they learn.
I don't like Jules because "jewels" which makes me think of "family jewels" (euphemism for testicles).Aleida June is awesome
Jules Everett
... and Maia and ... I dunno, Rhys? Quentin?

I'm not too concerned about the pronunciation of Aleida, it's easy to correct people. I had never connected Jules to "family jewels". Not loving that but I'm glad you pointed it out. Great suggestions! Thanks.

I'm not very fond of "Jules" it seems very cutoff. Also, Aleida & Jules just don't make much of a very believable sibset. They are just too separate of a name; too separate of a backroundAnyways...
Aleida June & Jules Everett (I like the flow of this one)

Would you mind elaborating? How are their backgrounds too different? Both names are used in the Netherlands and other European countries in a close proximity. It's not like I am putting Ga-In and Luisa in a sibset. I just don't see the problem there and have no idea what you mean by saying that they wouldn't be "believable" as a sibset

Let me some it up: I just don't see them very fitting as a sibset. They just don't scream "siblings" in my very honest opinion.
They may have originated from the same located or aproximetly the same location, but that doesn't mean they make a perfect Sib pair.I think one of the reasons why I don't feel they fit well together is because personally...
Aleida makes me picture someone who's native language isn't English (they did not originate from an English speaking country) and Jules: the opposite
I personally don't think they work together but do keep in mind, that is just my opinion. You may love them and feel they go great together but not everyone is going to have that mutual feeling.

I absolutely agree with you that we all have different opinions. I just wanted some clarification. :)

I like Aleida, although I probably wouldn't use it as a first name due to its confusing prounciation- and spelling. Jules... well, I like its look, but I know the pronunciation will cause trouble. I don't think it's a good choice when you live in a Non-French speaking environment. And if it is meant to be the diminutive of Julian or so, please don't make it a real name. Apart from that, I don't think that the two names go together very well. Yes, they look kind of cute together, but they have a very different background.
This makes it also very hard to find a good and matching name for a third child. What about Aleida, Jules and Felix/Hugo/Leopold/Sander/Theo or Carla/Cilla/Rosa/Tessa/Xandra?Of the girl combos below I think Aleida Beatrix would make the most sense. I don't really like Beatrix though. Aleida Mae is nice, too.
Out of the boy combos I prefer Jules Oliver as well as Jules August!

I don't mind that their backgrounds are different or they don't typically go together. If I stick to one background or style then I get myself into a bind. :)Aleida, Jules, and Felix is really cute. Thanks!
