Friend just had a daughter, and they named her...
Raelynn Grace. Her older brothers are named Slade and Emmett. WDYT? I'm not even gonna comment; I think it's that bad. lol.The father's name is Raymond, btw, but the honoring doesn't really help here, I don't think.

I've always liked Raelynn and Slade. But cannot stand Emmett - it just has such an empty sound to me. Or maybe it just reminds me of the word "empty"? I think the names go well together...kinda grungy.

I'm just gonna agree with you... It IS that bad.

I don't have anything against Raelynn actually. I would have preferred Raelyn, but who cares. I think Slade is a hundred times worse.

Honouring always helps. At least a bit.
But yeah, Raelynn is kind of puky.

I don't think it's as bad as you think, though I'm not a fan of Raelynn or the combo. It is, after all, honouring a father of that baby.

Yeah, Raelynn is all kinds of bad, but it still can't compare to the sheer awfulness that is Slade, wow.

That sounds so 90s. It's already dated sounding, lol.

I've met a few Raelynns, unfortunately.

My niece is Raelynn. It's also honoring, three previous generations. I like the name, but do admit it had to grow on me. The middle name is 'new filler'. Emmett is fine, but I don't get Slade.

I don't really see a problem. /shrug

Honestly I like it. Raelynn is sort of a GP to me.
