July -- Ruby ... and I've actually considered Juliana Ruby and Juliet Ruby for a July baby, lol. They're a tad cheesy for my tastes although I do like the flow and imagery.

October - opal & rose quartz.

QUESTIONWhat does this have to do with names?Admittedly, I answered, because I share the almost universal human attribute of finding no subject quite so fascinating as that of myself.

It recently dawned on me how nice Tourmaline sounds to my ear. I like it better than Opal as far as gem-names go

I was just thinking the same thing! I like opals, but it just sounds so heavy as a name. Tourmaline is a lot prettier to me, sound-wise.

December - turquoiseAnd zircon and tanzanite, but I "identify" with turquoise most. To bring this around to name discussion, my aunt was considering naming my cousin Turquoise, had he been a girl. That was back in the 80s

That's sooo 80's omg. Fantastic.

We all always joke about how happy we are that he came out a boy and was named Jeromy instead. I shudder at the thought of a real life Turquoise. Just the thought of it puts crimped hair, acid wash denim and graphic prints in my mind

Mine is January, stone is Garnet. Both could be nice names. :)

SameI don't see how this is an appropriate post for this board, though? Unless we're talking about the name quality of the months & birthstones, of course, in which case I don't like either of these.
