I love the name Enoch. I think it's got a lot of history/character/energy...and I'm not sure why this is, but it makes me think of sea captains and a lighthouse.It's not usable for me personally because (as with most obscure biblical names), I think a lot of people would assume that Enoch and/or his parents were religiously conservative, and as much as I'd like for that to not matter to me, it really, really would.Also, a lot of people might consider the prominent "knock" sound harsh and unattractive.
I think it'd be cool to meet a kid named Enoch, though...or a cat, if you end up preferring it for a feline.Maybe: Enoch Amadeo, Enoch Altair, Enoch Arthur, Enoch Atlas, Enoch Oleander, Enoch Miguel, or Enoch Lennon.
