Thayer. Thane is just strange and awkward to me. Thayer isn't perfect but Thane gives me creepy vibes for some reason.

Thane - however; Thayer might be used only for strict formality, while with Thane may be used as a n/n - to offer options for the child.

ThaneReminds me of Macbeth and Thayer sounds way too much like Althaia/Theia (Thay-ə), which I only love for a girl.

Thane; it's not my favorite, but I think it has the potential to be handsome on the right guy. The syllables in Thayer kind of blend together in my accent, so it just sounds like there/their/they're.

Thane. Mostly because Thayer sounds like "there" even when I say it with a soft 'th' sound.Also Thane has a campy Middle Ages vibe, and I sort of dig that.
