My first name is Stephanie, and my mom got it from a character on an old 80's TV show. She originally wanted to name me Julia, but my dad DESPISED it because he had an aunt named Julia who he really hated. My middle name, Clare, comes from the saint, and the spelling is how my mom thought it was spelled.
My older cousin on my mom's side is named Warren James because that's the reverse of my uncle's name. When my aunt and uncle adopted Warren's baby sister, my mom suggested she name her Alexa (not sure why), but she ultimately decided on Blythe for its meaning (Joy). Not sure where Blythe's middle name, Ann, came from.
